Her on-camera credits include the film The Wedding Ringer, and such shows as The Glee Project, Glee, and Grey's Anatomy. On stage she's played Elphaba in the Broadway production of Wicked, and can currently be seen on the U.S. tour of Mean Girls: The Musical. We discuss the stress of leaving Wicked as she was rehearsing Mean Girls, the ups and downs of touring, musical theatre fandom, the magic of live theatre, having the performance bug from a young age, being part of The Glee Project, being recognized in Times Square, the trauma of working on reality TV, and the humanity in being an actor.
