This week on BEFORE THE BREAK, the boys sit down with actor, Ira Amyx. Ira has had recurring roles on Stranger Things, Fargo, and Empire. He's also appeared on such shows as Chicago Med, Miracle Workers, Sirens, and Shameless. We discuss growing up in Idaho and bouncing between a dozen grade schools, getting the bug in high school from his drama teacher, learning from watching the actors at Idaho Shakespeare Festival, the endurance of actors, seeing himself in the work of the great American realism playwrights, knowing he'd find his stride a little later in life, working in art departments, being at odds with Chicago theatre, overcoming personal issues, and the importance of taking care of yourself.
