This week on BEFORE THE BREAK, the boys sit down with actor, Chris Chalk. Chris has been on such shows as Perry Mason, Gotham, When They See Us, and The Newsroom. His film credits include Red Sea Diving Resort, Detroit, 12 Years A Slave. On stage he appeared in the 2010 Broadway revival of Fences. We discuss growing up in North Carolina, being fed limitations in school, the importance of always feeling good, the fantasy of the industry, social media influencers coming onto the scene, being self aware, learning from being a reader for Telsey Casting and Labyrinth Theatre Co, the wild audition process for Fences, why he had to kick Denzel Washington in the callback, and the gratification of making your own work.
